Management Accountant Role

NC Associates are working with a market leading service based organisation based near Preston Lancashire to assist in recruiting a Qualified Management Accountant. My client is looking for a confident and experienced Management Accountant who can help support the Finance Manager and senior management team in preparing timely management accounts as well as leading and supporting a small finance team.  As a Management Accountant you will have lots of autonomy and support to help build on your existing experience.

Management Accountant Responsibilities

• Monthly management accounts preparation for various divisions within the business
• Monthly P&L variance analysis and preparation of monthly reporting packs to the senior management team
• Periodic balance sheet reconciliations and production of the supporting review pack
• Manage and develop management information systems and reporting to enable performance management of the divisions
• Management and reconciliation of intercompany accounts
• Regular inter-company reconciliations.
• Support with all aspects of the month end close.
• Provide ad-hoc management reports.
• Undertake other projects as required 

Management Accountant Experience Required

• Newly Qualified CIMA/ACCA Accountant
• Experience working in Industry.
• Ability to lead and develop a team of trainee accountants
• Proficiency in Excel (v look ups & pivot tables).
• Excellent data entry and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
