Management Accountant

Robert Half have partnered with a long term financial services client based in Bath to recruit an Interim Management Accountant.

This role has arisen due to some scheduled leave coming up in the team.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 3-5 months (scope for a more permanent role)

Day rate: £225 - £300 per day (Via Umbrella)

Hybrid working: 2 days in office and 3 from home each week.

You will be responsible for:

• Manage daily financial activities efficiently and independently.
• Ensure smooth functioning of accounting processes with minimal supervision.
• Execute month-end closing activities promptly and accurately.
• Generate reports, perform journal entries, and reconcile accounts.
• Conduct reconciliations of accounts to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Assist in the review and analysis of financial statements.
• Review and approve payments in adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and assistance to the team as required.
• Review payroll transactions and perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to step in and contribute to a vibrant finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
