Management Accountant

About:
Our client, a dynamic and growing business group and industry leader, seeks a talented Management Accountant to join their Central London team. Role Overview:
As the Management Accountant, you'll be pivotal in the finance team, collaborating closely with the CFO to ensure financial delivery. Responsibilities include monthly management accounts, detailed record analysis, billing schedules, and payroll oversight. You'll also contribute to year-end accounting, annual audits, and evaluate Business Plans with operational teams.

Salary:
Competitive, up to £65,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly Management Accounts preparation
- Month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, and trial balance
- Group accounting, inter-company balance sheet reconciliations
- Weekly cashflows
- VAT Preparation
- Profit, loss, and margin analysis
- Suppliers spend analysis
- KPI reporting
- Forecasting and budgeting
- GP reports review and enhancing reporting standards
- Close collaboration with bookkeeper and credit control
- Assistance with annual audit

Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA OR CIMA)
- 3-5 years financial environment experience
- Proficient in Excel (Sumifs, v-lookups)
- Management accounting techniques, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting expertise
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
- Effective people management and relationship-building abilities
