Management Accountant - Marlow, Buckinghamshire - £40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits (5 days in the office)

FryerMiles is working exclusively with a leading company to hire a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hands-on Management Accountant to help optimise the financial processes and ensure accurate transactional flows within the organisation, reporting into the Group Financial Controller and working in this small finance function.

The duties of the Management Accountant include:

  • Management Account preparation and support to the Financial Controller as required.
  • Ensuring that any unallocated items are investigated proficiently and quickly.
  • Supporting the transactional team and assisting with invoices onto Sage & Eque2.
  • Reconcile Supplier statements.
  • Complete a weekly payment run.
  • Reconciling bank statements.
  • Answering supplier queries in a timely manner.
  • Processing of Sub-Contractor payment applications and accounting for Retention.
  • Experience using Eque2 and Sage 50 desirable but not essential.
  • Posting of Journals.

The successful Management Accountant will:

  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with suppliers.
  • Hands on SME environment experience.
  • Confident and effective telephone skills when taking calls as required.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Excel including using VLOOKUP's and other formulas.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to.
