Management Accountant
  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Salary: £53,000

My client is seeking a recently Qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team, reporting to the Senior Management Accountant. The successful candidate will work closely with Head Office teams, Regional Finance Managers,  to ensure accurate reporting of allocated P&L lines in the Management Accounts. This role is integral to our monthly reporting requirements and related balance sheet reconciliations.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Accurate and timely reporting of allocated P&L lines, ensuring compliance with financial period deadlines, accruals, prepayments, and revenue recognition policies.
  • Full ownership of allocated P&L lines,
  • Reconciliation of allocated balance sheet accounts
  • Liaising with regional Finance Managers 
  • Assisting with the year-end statutory audit, including writing audit papers for membership accounting adjustments.
  • Reviewing accounting processes for allocated P&L lines
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis of allocated income lines as required.
  • Involvement in the monthly reporting process, including Board and Strategy packs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Recognised accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience in month-end reporting within a finance team.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent organisational skills and efficient time management.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Experience dealing with International Entities.
