Stanton House is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a PE-backed Services Business in Dorking on a 4 - 6 month Contract paying £400 per day Outside of IR35. This role offers a hybrid working model with 2 working in their office close to Dorking. This is a unique opportunity to join a Services Business (£50-£60 million turnover) that is focused on providing innovative services within their industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare working papers and lead audit schedules.
  • Spot and execute enhancements company-wide to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Revamp the month-end procedure and address previous weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to enhance the finance function.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience and a background in auditing.
  • Proficiency in financial software like NetSuite and Excel tools.
  • Capable of building and sustaining strong professional ties across all company levels.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational and time-management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive mindset, willing to challenge and innovate existing practices when needed.
