Management Accountant

Robert Half Cambridge have partnered with a business in their search for a Management Accountant to join their Finance Department in Oundle.

This role will support the Finance Business Partner with Financial Control, Compliance, Reporting and Analysis. The candidate will provide monthly reports and management accounts.

This role is paying a salary of £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience with study support offered if required. This role is based in their Oundle office full time.

Responsibilities:

• Regular analysis of KPI's such as invoice lag, debtors, variance and productive hours
• Support the analysis and explain overhead spend and analysis
• Provide analysis to forecast the performance of the business against budget in order to aid decision making
• Support the FBP in annual budget preparation process
• Assist with the Audit process
• Support the checking and approval of payments and banking activities
• Balance sheet reconciliation preparation and check

Skills and qualifications:

• Part qualified ACCA / CIMA
• Ability to translate, report and communicate financial analysis into clear actions and objectives
• Good Interpersonal skills with willingness to take on new skills & knowledge.
• Good time management skills, and be able to demonstrate a structured and methodical approach to work load.
