Management Accountant

This newly created Management Accountant will form a key part of the Finance team for one the growing Asset Manager Firm Paying £65,000 to £75,000 depending on experience and currently operating a 2 day a week in the office with a Discretionary bonus. Located right next to Liverpool Street.

Role

This Management Accountant Role will help the Firm scale the finance function, put new processes in place and refine existing ones. This role will work closely with the Financial Controller in providing support for a growing team. Please find a brief outline of the role below.

• Delivering monthly, Interim and FY reporting cycles and the consolidation of international businesses
• Ensuring business transactions conform to IFRS accounting standards and the balance sheet is reconciled and maintained to a high standard
• Help support or prepare papers on accounting judgements and considerations for the Audit Committee
• Supporting the interim and year end Group audit process
• Helping integrate acquired businesses into the Group
• Supporting the wind-up of legal entities post integration
• Filing statutory audited accounts for circa 30 UK legal entities
• Partnering with the CRO on Regulatory submissions and Capital / Liquidity planning activities
• Supporting the Tax functions
• Support the management of the Treasury function and quarterly debt/covenant reporting
• Managing one Assistant Management Accountant
• Ad-hoc projects assigned by the GFC or CFO

Profile

The Management Accountant Role for this Asset Manager Business firm is ideally looking for

• A Industry trained Management Accountant with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience
• Someone with at least 3 years' experience within a similar role!
• Someone from Financial services ideally- however not essential

Salary & Benefits

Salary is bench marked between £65,000 - £75,000 depending on experience. Additionally, there is a Discretionary bonus and hybrid working of 2 days in the office. As well as various Annual trips such as Skiing and summer trips
