Robert Walters - Management Accountant - Permanent - Staffordshire (hybrid working)

Our client, are looking for a Management Accountant to prepare and take ownership of all financial analysis and reporting tasks including month end reporting, group reporting, budgets and monthly forecasts.

Location: Staffordshire (hybrid working)
Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £50,000 per annum

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant

* Regular liaison with project teams outside of finance in relation to financial aspects if projects in order to understand results
* Management of detailed excel file for the monthly reforecast process including month phased forecast information
* Preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting in the business
* Oversight of various monthly management reports with explanations for variances to inform the monthly accounts

Key essentials of the Management Accountant

* Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
* ability to manage large volumes of data accurately and efficiently
* experience of regularly meeting management reporting deadlines
* high level of drive and self-motivation
