Due to rapid growth, we need a recruit a full time permanent experienced Management Accountant

About the role

Exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and commercially astute, Management Accountant to join a high growth business, in the retail sector.

• Working across 3businesses and reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be responsible for the finance function of the businesses. The key focus of this role is visibility of the numbers so being adept at excel is extremely advantageous

Including but not limited to:

• Monthly preparation of the management accounts across the business units
• Accruals
• Prepayments
• Sales reporting,
• Balance sheet reconciliations,
• P & L analysis,
• Quarterly VAT returns, EC sales,
• Cashflow,
• Bank Reconciliations
• Assist the Transactional Team with any escalations/queries
• Ensure all reporting is timely and accurate

About you

You will be a high-flying individual with a demonstrable progressive career to date, able to stand out in an entrepreneurial setting delivering high quality results.

What you will need;

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA OR QBE
• Experience in an SME or small/start up business
• Experience with Sage 50 accounts, Sage Payroll and Quickbooks
• Proven experience designing and developing finance processes and workflows
• Desire to grow the business and make a change
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Experience working in a dynamic and rapidly growing business and adaptable to change
• Organised and an excellent communicator, both written and oral
• Strong technical reporting experience
• Highly motivated and able to work towards tight deadlines
