An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant in the Transport & Distribution sector, based in Birmingham, to provide managerial accounting support within a busy finance department.

Description

The Management Accountant will be;

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Managing financial audits and liaising with external auditors
• Maintaining a robust financial control environment
• Analysing financial data and providing insightful business recommendations
• Supporting the development and implementation of financial systems
• Managing and mentoring members of the finance team
• Participating in cross-functional projects within the organisation

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting part-qualified or qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting skills
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide insightful business recommendations
• Experience with financial systems development and implementation

Job Offer

• An estimated hourly rate of £24.73 - £28.33
• Temporary to permanent
• 35 hours per week, flexible working hours
