Management Accountant

We are currently working with an organisation based in Huthwaite who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant into their finance team. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for Monthly Management Accounts, Budgeting, Cash Flow and Fixed Assets.

Applicants will ideally have experience of working in a Manufacturing or Construction industry and have strong Excel skills along with experience of process improvement and collaborative working. This role is a full-time role based in the office however they do offer 1 day working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• VAT returns and reconciliations
• PAYE/NI and CIS reconciliations and submissions
• Pension contribution submissions
• Month end ledger closing routines
• Nominal analysis for accounts preparation and journal entries (accrual and pre-payments)
• Assistance in preparing timely monthly management accounts in the board pack and any other reporting requirements
• Payroll processing
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Fixed assets and depreciation posting
• Group cashflow consolidation and cashflow forecasting
• Assist with Budgets and rolling forecasts for the Group
• Office of National Statistics
• Group Month end reporting
• Assistance with compliance auditing
• Assistance with year end audit
