Management Accountant - Up to £50k plus study & benefits - London (office based)

My client, a start-up apparel company with offices in the US and London, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant for their growing business. Following sellout launches in both the US and the UK, this is an exceptional opportunity to join a fast growing start-up business. This position will support the Finance Director with day-to-day accounting responsibilities, with a critical role in enabling the management team to make decisions based on high-quality financial data.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accurate processing of financial transactions
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Managing purchase order process and reporting
  • Daily bank reconciliations across multiple currencies
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • General administration

Key skills:

  • ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Isn't afraid to approach any task with good judgement, but will ask for help when needed
  • Has an excellent working knowledge of Excel
  • A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Previous experience of accounting software and financial systems (Oracle NetSuite preferable)
  • A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in and support the team
  • Will thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
