Job Overview:
Axon Moore are working alongside an outstanding client who are once again adding to their already strong finance team. Through organic, and M&A avenues, they are continuing their extraordinary growth as they become a key player in the market.

I would be particularly interested to speak to any individuals who are looking to move from a smaller accountancy practice into this organisation. This would be an ideal move as you leverage your ACA/ACCA technical skillset, coupled with leaning on your accounts prep experience.

Salary: £45,000
Benefits: Bonus, excellent office facilities, company pension, free use of onsite gym
Location: South Manchester

Main Duties:
• Preparation of management, inclusive of journals, group reporting pack and board reports.
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls.
• Support in the transition of newly acquired entity onto an already established Group reporting process.
• Analysis and commentary of performance.
• Preparation of weekly cash flow.
• Partner with the transactional finance team to maximize working capital.
• Assist the wider finance team including preparation of management accounts.
• Assist with the financial due diligence on potential acquisitions.
• Support in the implementation of a new finance system, due to go live in the next 9 months.
• Support when necessary, with the external audit.

Person Specification:
• ACA or ACCA Qualified, or close to being Qualified.
• Excellent excel skills are essential
• Experience working within an Accountancy Practice is desirable.
• Strong communication skills.
