Management Accountant

Our client is a growing group of businesses who due to growth are looking to recruit a Part Qualified/ Finalist Management Accountant.

The role offers a huge amount of scope for the right person to progress and develop. The ideal candidate will have started their studies towards ACCA or CIMA qualification and have 3 or 4 paper remaining.

The company will pay up to £36,000p/a + bonus and offering hybrid working.

The main duties are:

• Ensure consistent, precise and timely accounting procedures are adhered to throughout the Retail operations.
• Ensure timely and precise reporting of monthly management accounts
• Support and assist with annual internal and external auditing
• Maintain cost centre profit and loss account for operations and support budget owners in review and management of data.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders
• Variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide support to Accounts Assistant
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute towards a culture of continuous improvement
• Attend and contribute to management/department meetings where required
• Any other ad hoc work required
