Kenneth Brian Associates are working on an exclusive basis with a rapidly expanding global business based in Croydon, looking to hire a Management Accountant. The role will support the Finance Manager in the production of the management accounts for the group, management and improvement of the group finance function ensuring controls and procedures are consistent.

The ideal candidate will be a part qualified ACCA or CIMA studier who is looking to complete their studies within the next 2 years.

This role offers genuine career progression due to the current and expected growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Produce accurate and timely management accounts for the UK and it's subsidiaries including P&L and balance sheet.
  • Review, analyse and commentary on financial performance compared to budget, prior year and forecast.
  • Prepare month end journals and adjustments where necessary.
  • Support reviewing of reconciliation performed by other team members
  • Supporting UK and subsidiary cashflow reporting and forecasting and assisting with group cashflow reports.
  • Oversight of UK and subsidiary credit control and accounts payable

Skills and Experience:-

Ambitious part qualified accountant, actively studying CIMA or ACCA looking to progress within a finance department of a business with ambitious growth targets.

Has high professional standards with good communication skills to support and promote the capability of the finance department internally within the business.
Ability to solve problems and implement solutions necessary to ensure financial reporting improves over time.
Advanced Excel skills.
