Management Accountant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Management Accountant with strong analytical skills and impeccable attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organising financial data to support decision-making processes.

Our client is a well-established educational entity in the not-for-profit sector, managing a network of schools in Solihull. They are committed to providing high-quality education for their students, employing over 500 dedicated staff members across their multiple locations.
Description
- Preparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
- Assisting in the annual budget process and conducting regular budget reviews
- Providing financial advice to non-finance staff across the organisation
- Ensuring financial compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Analysing financial performance and making longer-term forecasts
- Participating in internal and external audits
- Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Actively studying towards qualification (ACCA, CIMA or similar) or QBE
- Previous experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector is essential
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues
Job Offer
- A competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £41,000 per annum
