Management Accountant

The team has been engaged by an up-and-coming biotech business based in the Abingdon area to find the latest addition to the company, a Management Accountant.

Your new role

• Bank reconciliation
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of accruals/prepayments for month end close and posting journals
• Review and track CRO accruals on a monthly basis.
• Fixed assets including, posting depreciation, maintaining fixed asset register, monitoring and reviewing capital expenditure
• US accounting partner support - including Intercompany reconciliation, expense accruals, review of US accounting pack.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns & other submissions
• Revenue recognition
• Cash flow short term (next month) reforecasting

What you'll need to succeed

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or other relevant qualification
• Proven experience with day to day Finance activities
• Exceptional eye for detail/accuracy
• Problem solver
• SAGE 50 Knowledge desirable
• Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot tables, V lookups, IF formulas.
• MS Office (Word, Outlook)
