Management Accountant

NG10 - Long Eaton

£28-38k

Hybrid working model - typically 3 days at site with 2 days from home.

Our clients business is a well established SME based in Long Eaton, they are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join their close-knit team as soon as possible.

This role is open to both Part-Qualified and QBE (Qualified by Experience) Accountants and is offering a salary range of £28-38k.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts and associated reports.
  • Assist the Finance Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Accruals, prepayments, and journal posting
  • Reconciliations
  • Oversight of purchase and sales ledger activities including month end close
  • Support the financial controller with ad-hoc tasks and projects

This role is ideally suited to a Part-Qualified (CIMA/ACCA) or QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidate with experience in a similar Management Accounting role. You will need strong attention to detail, IT skills including MS Excel and enjoy working within a small team environment.
