Management Accountant

This role involves supporting month end accounting functions of the company in line with management accounting. Ensuring this runs as smoothly and accurately as possible.

You do not have to have a specific qualification for this role if you have relevant experience and are strong with data and using Excel.

Description

Managing payroll reconciliations with precision and high attention to detail

Oversee accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Between 5 - 10 years minimum of experience within accounting and/or finance
• Must be a very strong user of Excel (essential)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Have a good understanding of payroll (essential)
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Meticulous by nature

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a flair for numbers.
