Management Accountant

Equifind are working with a global multifaceted hedge fund, who after expansion plans are now looking for a recently qualified management accountant to join the team. Working in a lean team of 4 your role will be to assist the Head of Finance in all deliverables, support the junior member of the team and provide training/development on this.

As a business they now have over 150 heads in the London office, with multiple expansion plans over the past two years, system implementations and new strategies developed - it’s a very exciting time to be joining the buisness!

Description:

• Preparation of Group Management Accounts monthly. The Group consist of multiple business lines and multiple legal entities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Responsible for managing annual audits, company tax computation and regulatory reporting.
• Review Quarterly VAT returns prepared by the Assistant Account.
• Overseeing the transactional processing, done by the Assistant Account, for accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Provide cover for the Assistant Accountant when she is way or requires help during busy periods.
• Assist with preparing and reviewing budgets set by department heads.
• Be an active idea generator when discussing potential problems/solutions/projects.
• Maintaining global standards, recommending areas for improvement, and suggesting solutions then bringing them to fruition.

Package Includes:

• Base salary £60,000 - £65,000
