Management Accountant

KennedyPearce are working with one of the best media clients in the world. We are looking to speak with Qualified Accountants who are immediately available and happy to work in a West London office 4 days per week. This role is a contract for 12 months.

The Senior Accountant will assist with the close accounting processes & deliverables for the Media segment. They will also be responsible for reviewing and assisting with the content acquisition and productions register for all EMEA entities.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the general accounting processes

• Responsible for the quarter close reporting processes; PL & BS, i.e. consolidation of accounts & cause of change analysis, as well as review of submissions by other team members.

• Programming accounting for EMEA internally developed content, third-party acquisitions, pre-buys (original acquisitions), co-productions, inter-company content, development & pilot; ensuring accounting, tax & legal compliance.

• Withholding tax, ad hoc support and Ad sales accounting and support.

• Working closely with local, EMEA, US, Mumbai teams on an ongoing basis as the key accounting contact.

• Completion and review of monthly & quarterly BS reconciliations.

• Liaising with external Auditors.

• Ensuring compliance with SOX

• Identifying & driving areas of improvement within current processes with the aim of maintaining the current high standard of service provided in a more efficient manner.
