Management Accountant

Management Accountant – Thame (office-based) – Paying up to £40,000

Wade Macdonald are working in collaboration with a fantastic growing organisation based in Thame to help them hire their new Management Accountant position.

This exciting role will join a small and busy finance team and work closely with colleagues across the business, the Regional Managers and Finance team, as the Management Accountant will work across the group with other teams across the organisation, providing essential support and analysis.

Responsibilities of Management Accountant:

• Maintain the accounts for all entities, in line with UK GAAP and reporting requirements
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, supporting with tax and VAT filings
• Providing commentary on variance analysis between budget and actual
• Implement process improvements and processes, driving efficiency
• Submission of monthly accounts in a timely manner
• Close liaison with multiple Regional Managers
• Balance sheet reconciliations

Skills and experience required of Management Accountant:

• Part Qualified / Certified Accountant (essential to have completed foundation level exams)
• SAP Experience preferential
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Knowledge of local regulatory and accounting regulations
