Management Accountant

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a market leading organisation in North Leeds who are looking to appoint an Management Accountant to their team. This is a fantastic time to join an organisation going through a period of growth. This is the perfect opportunity for a commercially astute Management Accountant to join the team with remit over the month end procedures as well as the chance to develop business partnering skills across the organisation.

They are offering a competitive salary (c.£55,000 DOE) along with a hybrid working pattern (currently 1 days onsite per week), flexible working patterns and private healthcare scheme.

The role:

• Responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts including variance analysis’ and the production and posting of journals
• Take the lead on balance sheet reconciliations and be the lead point of contact for queries
• Play a key role in weekly and monthly reporting
• Act as a pivotal figure in the preparation of budgets annually and with the yearly forecasting
• Work closely with the commercial teams and act as a business partner with several areas of the business

The person:

• Qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA)
• Demonstrable experience of preparing month end
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to converse with a variety of stake holders
• Experience working within a commercial setting
