Management Accountant

Management Accountant - Part-Qualified - Maidenhead, Berkshire - £35,000 to £40,000 per year

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a SME Manufacturing business in Maidenhead to assist in the hiring of a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance function, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You'll be responsible for assisting in the preparation of management accounts, providing financial analysis, and contributing to the overall financial strategy of the company. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making processes
• Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant data for reporting purposes.
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Monitor budget performance and provide analysis on variances.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and presentations for management as required.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.

Requirements:

• Part-qualified accountant - ACCA / CIMA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with ERP systems is desirable)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful conclusions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
• Previous experience in the Manufacturing or Construction industry is desirable  

Location:

Maidenhead, Berkshire (5 days per week onsite)
