Management Accountant

The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-respected manufacturing organisation based in Peterborough, who are part of a globally operating group which hosts an impression portfolio of businesses.

They are now looking to appoint a part qualified and ambitious Management Accountant to act as a number 2 to the Head of Finance. This role offers some fantastic, but steady progression and will eventually transition into a Finance Manager position, overseeing a small team of 2.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the monthly Management Accounts.
• Completing monthly balance sheet recs
• Investigating variances
• Completing monthly and quarterly financial reporting pack
• Supporting with yearend audits
• Reconciliation of the ledger accounts
• Reviewing new processes and procedures
• Supporting with training of the finance team

Applicants who are actively studying towards their accounting qualification will be of particular interest. If you have a passion for problem solving, analysing processes and enjoy bringing different ideas to the table, then this role will allow you to accomplish the above.

You will have the luxury of working from home 2 days a week and will be based in the office for 3.

The salary for the role is paying up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
