Management Accountant

Leading global independent retail operator with operations at over 5,600 sites across Continental Europe, the United Kingdom, North America and Australia is looking for a French speaking Management Accountant. You will be required to provide accounting support within the Finance team, to ensure key financial activities are complete in a timely manner working closely with the Financial Controller and FD.

ROLE of the Management Accountant:

• Supporting in the preparation of monthly lead schedules and any statutory audit requirements
• Presentation of monthly numbers to Senior Managers
• Providing Senior Managers with concise and clear updates and ensuring all issues are escalated in a timely manner
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Working closely with the wider finance team and in country teams to develop an understanding of key business drivers
• Ensuring consistent documentation of all key tasks and activities
• Dealing with large volumes of complex data and demonstrate the ability to present this in a clear and presentable manner
• Maintaining and improving standardisation of tasks and processes
• Developing strong cross functional partnerships
• Contributing in the preparation and review of site P&L’s to ensure accuracy in management reporting
• Working closely with and build partnerships with colleagues
• Other adhoc projects

PROFILE:

• Fluent French and English or min intermediate French
• Previous experience in a similar role or previous experience in an accounting firm.
• ACCA/CIMA or similar
• Good knowledge of IFRS standards
• Strong analytical skills
• Good interpersonal skills

SALARY:

• Dependent on experience but upto £45k for MA
