Management Accountant

Walter People are currently working alongside a leading business based in Coleshill in their recruitment of a Management Accountant on a 3 month interim contract. The role will be paid on a day rate with a perm equivalent salary of £35k-£40k based on experience and can offer hybrid working.

Walter People are currently working alongside a leading business based in Coleshill in their recruitment of a Management Accountant on a 3 month interim contract. The role will be paid on a day rate with a perm equivalent salary of £35k-£40k based on experience and can offer hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

* Completion of regular weekly and monthly management information to the business, division and group
* Accruals & prepayments
* Journal postings
* Support with the production of monthly management accounts to strict
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Provide cover for other team members
* Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders to facilitate information flow
* Contribution to ongoing continuous improvement of processes within the division

The Successful Candidate will have the Following:

* Previous experience of working in a similar role (Management Accountant/Assistant Accountant)
* Ideally part qualified and actively studying a professional qualification
* Intermediate Excel skills
* Great interpersonal skills
* Able to interview/start at short notice
