Management Accountant

Fast growing sustainability business based in the Swinton area requires a Management Accountant. This is a newly created role that acts as an integral position within the finance department. My client a business that is currently undergoing fast growth and therefore this role offers opportunities to develop and progress as the business expands.

Reporting to the Head of Finance duties for this role will include.

Responsibilities:

• Producing financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries.
• Analyse financial information to assist the Head of Finance with reporting on a regular basis.
• Overseeing payroll for 65 staff and quarterly vat returns.
• Preparation of statutory accounts to meet legal deadlines.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process.
• Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Management of cash flow
• Assisting the UK and Ireland Finance Manager with monthly/year-end Group reporting
• Adhoc reporting when needed.
• Acting as a key member of the team, dealing with queries both internal and external.

The right candidate for the role will have;

• Min 3 years’ experience within a similar role
• Excellent Excel skills to include pivot tables, look-ups and various formulae.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (desirable but not essential).
• AAT Qualified (desirable but not essential)
• Payroll Experience is preferable.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage time and tasks efficiently.
