Are you an experienced accountancy professional able to manage the full accounts function in a standalone role?

Reed Finance are delighted to be working alongside an established client in the East Boldon area who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to their business on a full time, permanent contract.

As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing the organisations full accounts, reporting financial information to the Directors and assisting with external audits. You will also be responsible for looking after the full accounts function including the ledgers, journals bank payments and debtors. This is a varied role and would also suit those currently working in a standalone position as a Accountant, Accounts Manager or Office Manager.

There is the opportunity to flexibly work hours according to personal needs and the potential for hybrid working after passing probation.

Job Duties include:

• Full management of the month end financial statements, P&L Balance sheet and cashflow.

• Monthly balance sheet controls, reconciliations

• Preparation and submission of all company financial information including Statutory Accounts, VAT & Tax reports.

• Full monthly management accounts preparation

• Management of the year end process including liaising with auditors and query resolution.

• Assist in budget preparation and analysis.

• Profit and Loss Analysis

• Managing all banking, customer credit and cash.

• Credit Control, sales invoicing and cash forecasts.

• Accruals & prepayments
