Management Accountant Maternity Cover

A business in Watford is looking for a Management Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager to cover a 12 month maternity leave.

This role is seeking someone who is Qualified or perhaps at finalist level ACCA or CIMA as well as relevant experience with month end management accounts.

This is a great opportunity for someone to support an innovative and customer focused business based in Croxley Green Business Park in Watford. They offer Hybrid working as well as a generous salary and discretionary performance bonus!

This is a maternity cover, and they are looking for someone to start ASAP in April therefore please only apply if you are immediately available or able to start within a week.

This role requires someone who is analytical and highly driven. This position is integral to the management reporting and will include the production of monthly accounts for P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.

• Support in completion of month end close and MI Reporting, including analysis and postings
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and controls
• Ownership of the Fixed Assets process and other reporting requirements
• Accruals & prepayments
• Reviewing processes and identifying improvements
• Assisting with Statutory audit
• Variance analysis

Key candidates specifications include:

• Qualified ACCA or CIMA
• Strong reporting awareness
• Advance analytical skills
• Strong ERP experience
• Advanced Excel
• Available on short or no notice
