Role:

Our client is looking to grow quickly due to their recent Series A fundraise, as a result they have created a new Management Accountant position. This role will report directly into the extremely impressive CFO.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of financial statements with notes and appendices
• Preparation and posting of journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Consolidating group accounts (UK & US)
• Preparation and filing of monthly VAT, PAYE returns
• Support on budgeting and forecasting (when required)
• Transactional Finance
• Assisting in the maintenance and improvements of systems and processes

Personal Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
• Experience working across multiple US states
• Strong understanding of systems including Excel. Experience with Xero is advantageous but not essential
• Experience within a tech startup is desirable
• Ability to work under pressure to achieve challenging goals
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
