Sheridan Maine are recruiting for a talented Management Accountant to join a fantastic group reporting team.
This role offers a hybrid working pattern of 4 days working from home and 1 day in the Poole office.
Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts and assisting with annual statutory accounts
- Supporting the financial reporting process
- Financial partnering
- Preparing budgets and forecasts
- Collaborating with budget holders and stakeholders as a business partner
- Managing, supporting and developing a small team of Assistant Management Accountants
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Journal processing
- Providing variance analysis
- Handling reporting and other analytical tasks
- Investigating financial systems and rectifying errors
- Identify opportunities for improvements
The successful Management Accountant should possess the following skills and experience:
- Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to establish and build relationships across the business
- A collaborative and solution oriented mindset
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to analyse, interpret and present information clearly and concisely
