Management Accountant- Hi Tech

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Management Accountant. This brand new position is an excellent opportunity to help shape the fiance process of what could be the next big thing in Cambridge.

You will use your Finance skills to help support the cutting edge research. Working with budget holders and setting up processes.

Exciting cutting edge Hi Tech business based in Central Cambridge.

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Monthly Management Accounts for UK and US
• Annual Budget
• Year End Audit
• Update the three-year budget annually ready for review
• Discuss with key budget holders for updates
• Identify and implement key controls across the business
• Prepare and review all balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts
• Hold monthly meetings with key budget holders to review spend
• Calculation of R&D tax credits ahead of review by an external tax team
• Preparation of working papers for auditors
• Preparation of the year end accounts including notes
• Co-ordinating audit process, answering queries and sample requests

Ideally you will be CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified with experience of Management Accounts in an SME fast growing environment. You will be a strong communicator able to communicate finance to non finance colleagues.

£55,000 to £60,000 plus benefits
