Maintenance Technician

Salary circa £35k
Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30am with a 1hr lunch break.

You will be joining a worldwide company who specialise in waste management, water solutions, industrial site services and more across a wide range of sectors, such as retail, food and beverages, chemicals and more!

Due to their continued progression in the industry, they are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their Plant Maintenance team carrying out electrical maintenance of mobile water equipment.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Electrical & Mechanical Fault finding
• Fault-finding in control systems, through preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Maintain electrical control systems in containers, trailers and skids. Including lighting, direct on-line, instrumentation, pumps / motors, etc.
• Assist in the development of plant modification and improvement work.
• Following EHS and Quality standards and suggesting possible improvements.

This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.

Skills and Experience required:

• 3 years' experience in a similar role
• 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Mechanical skills would be an advantage.
• Previously worked within an industrial environment.
• Health and safety trained and aware.
• Proactive and able to manage your own time effectively.
