Maintenance Technician

We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to work for one of our clients on a permanent basis in Peterlee.

The ideal candidate would be time served Mechanical and Electrical biased, however the role is more towards the mechanical side.

40 Hours per week, working a 3 shift pattern: Monday - Friday Day shift 6.00am-2.00pm, Back shift 2.00pm - 10.00pm and Nights shift Sunday - Thursday 10.00pm-6.00am.

Duties of the role include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
• Working on pumps and controls
• Assisting with the clean down
• Ensuring a high standard of safety, availability and reliability
• Repairing and improving of the plant machinery
• Ensuring the cleanliness and availability of the plant and equipment
• Work on equipment and facility projects

Essential Experience:

• Experience working on heavy plant equipment
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering HNC Degree or equivalent qualification
