Job Description

This is a multi-skilled role with an electrical bias working a two-shift pattern. The role is responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and services.

Duties

  • React to breakdown situations, carry out fault finding activities and undertake the timely repair of equipment including PLC’s, electric drives, robotics, pneumatics and screwdrivers
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance activities on various plant and machinery
  • Report and feedback on breakdown causes, making recommendations on countermeasures
  • Support equipment commissioning and installation projects across assembly and moulding factories
  • Support the manufacture process of inhouse projects
  • Strict adherence to safe working practices and observation of health and safety rules at all times

Required knowledge, skills or experience

  • Knowledge of PLC’s and Robots is advantageous but not essential. Relevant training will be provided where applicable
  • Educated to ONC (or equivalent) in an engineering related discipline
  • Completed an approved multi-skilled apprenticeship
  • Basic electrical competencies are required

Hours of work:

  • 06:00 - 14:00
  • 14:00 - 22:00
  • 22:00 - 06:00
