As a Project Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of multi-trade engineers. You will deliver a programme of works in the risers of new build and refurbished buildings across the estate, including Aldershot, Tidworth, Larkhill, and Warminster Garrisons. Your other responsibilities include:

  • Manage Riser Team Supervisors, Store person and Team Coordinator
  • Oversee the Induction Process for Health and Safety Requirements, RAMS, PPE, etc.
  • Issue Task Sheets and task sequencing
  • Issue equipment/tools
  • Monitor and coordinate teams and materials to deliver programme of works.
  • Communicate both building specific repairs, and the overall programme.
  • Manage the quality of repairs/ finish to ensure 'right first time’ is achieved.
  • Monitor operational activities to ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate production of building specific repair crates (based upon survey results)
  • Monitor Material stock levels & timely requisition of replacement items.
  • Report non-project related hazards and repairs to the Aspire Helpdesk immediately by telephone/email.
  • Manage Project Documentation and Surveying activities.
  • Produce and Quality Assure Repair Packs and Pack Records
  • Manage Weekly Time sheets, Holiday approval/rejection, Sickness/absence recording and investigation.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and briefings to the team.
  • Conduct Site Safety and Vehicle & Equipment Inspections
  • Manage Stock management/replacement requests.

Person Specification

  • Proven ability to organise and control.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Practical and proactive approach with the ability to show initiative and pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyse data in a logical, systematic manner.
  • Good team player with the ability to lead.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Visio, and MS Project

Required Skills

  • Experience of working with programs of maintenance repairs within Property Management or FM industry
  • Operational knowledge of fire compartmentation and fire stopping requirements, techniques, and products
  • Operational knowledge of commercial wet systems
  • Experience in a quality management role
  • Knowledge of working on large PFI contracts
  • Facilities Management experience on MOD estate

Additional Desirable Skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic multi-task environment and with multi-discipline teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.

Ready to join the team?

You must have an IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification and an industry recognised professional project management qualification.

It would however be additionally desirable to have a NEBOSH General Certificate Wet or dry trade NVQ or City and Guide Qualification, and a Level 2 Award in Passive Fire Protection - Foundation

Location: Tidworth

Salary: up to £54,860

Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term
