Fusion People are actively recruiting for Maintenance Operative (Multi Skilled/Plumbing Bias) to work on behalf of a leading planned maintenance contractor on an NHS Hospital in Surrey/Sussex, England. (NHS Contract)

This is a temp-to-perm vacancy

Static site with free parking.

Planned maintenance (PPM's) and reactive maintenance service (including out of hours call-out cover) on a contract we have with the South East Coast Ambulance Service. Maintenance to buildings fabric, M&E plant, equipment and alarm systems within Ambulance Stations, Make-Ready Centres (MRC's) and Ambulance Community Response Posts (ACRP's).

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. On-call and overtime. Standy allowance £75 for the week and overtime paid for a minimum 2 hours per call out at either time and a half if Monday to Saturday or double time if Sunday or Bank Holiday. Plus a day off in lieu if called out on a Bank Holiday.

Salary on perm up to £33k so initial temp rate £15.87 plus holiday, NI, pension + margin

Company van and fuel card provided

Will cover the regions of Sussex/Surrey so good to be based somewhere between the two counties, there may be a cross over into Kent for absence cover for example.

Candidate will need a UK driving licence (manual) and have held for at least one year, not been banned in the past 3 years and no more than 6 points

Position is subject to a Standard DBS check
