A manufacturer of high-end and high-value components sold to both Automotive and Yellow Goods clients globally is now seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their team. Maintenance Manager duties include -

  • Provide technical support to staff and maintenance of jigs, fixtures, tooling, and assemblies.
  • Drive a methodical approach to PPM, breakdown, improvement, and safety activities for a highly skilled team.
  • Oversee the diagnosis of faults, maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant equipment.
  • Plan effective countermeasures and actions to eliminate the re occurrence of repeat failures.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities and empower staff with the correct direction.
  • Ensure that H&S and Quality Management Systems are adhered to.

Maintenance Manager desirable skills and experience -

  • Experienced working within a similar role (Senior Maintenance Engineer, Supervisor etc).
  • Experienced in leading and motivating teams.
  • A hands-on, "get things done" attitude.
  • Proactive work ethic and self-motivation to drive continuous improvement.
  • Relevant manufacturing/mechanical engineering education (HND/HNC).
