Nigel Wright is pleased to be supporting a market leading organisation in their search for a Maintenance Manager. The business is continuing to invest heavily into their manufacturing site and has focused on increasing automation to maximise production and OEE across site.
Salary – circa £50,000 + benefits
Location – Teesside
The Role
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for effective control and improvement of all planned maintenance activities across the site (manufacturing and facilities).
- Ensuring equipment reliability and availability don’t negatively impact on the ability to meet demand
- 10+ direct reports
- Management of contractors and permits for external facilities activities
- Highlighting non-conformances and driving continuous improvement activities
- Effective use of systems to record and analyse metrics across site
- Utilising resources and liaising effectively with wider team to influence positive changes
- Managing engineering stores and component availability
Person Specification
The Maintenance Manager will have –
- 5+ years’ experience within high-volume manufacturing
- Time served or degree qualified
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail with clear understanding of Microsoft programs
- Worked as a Maintenance Supervisor or Manager within manufacturing
- Highly motivated and interested in improvement projects
- Analytical approach to data collection and utilisation of information gathered
