Maintenance Manager

Salary: up to £55,000 per annum

Location: Newton Aycliffe

Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Type: Permanent

Imperial Professionals are delighted to announce we are working with a large Manufacturer for the supply of an Maintenance Manager on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

Identify and Improve key engineering KPI's, downtime, productivity, expenditure, OEE
Ensure all equipment and machinery is effectively maintained
Introduce preventative maintenance strategies
Ensure all reactive and planned maintenance is completed to the standards required
Initiate and manage change by providing supportive and strategic leadership
Develop a culture of continuous improvement
To immediately report any incidences of poor manufacturing practice, H&S or safety concerns
To ensure appropriate and timely communication between production and engineering.
Own and control the engineering budget for the factory, including the labour budget, energy costs and contractors.
Take overall responsibility and project manage any engineering assignments within the factory.
Continually review and develop a flexible engineering structure
Develop the skill base of the maintenance team.
Review daily with the production supervisors to ensure all priorities are clearly identified and agreed.

Requirements:

Engineering/ qualification
BSc/ BEng Engineering
Experience in managing a team
Project and budget management experience
Experience in H&S legislation
Experience in a manufacturing environment
