Shorterm Group are delighted to be partnered with a well known manufacturer based in the heart of Skelmersdale. They specialise in subsea components and work predominantly in the oil and gas industry on a global scale.

They are looking to add a Maintenance Fitter to the team on a full time, permanent basis.

The company have seen major growth over the last couple of years and show no signs of slowing down. You'd be joining them at the top of their game, with opportunities for progression at every turn.

You'll be providing both mechanical and electrical to ensure consistent operation of plant and machinery. You'll be troubleshooting and maintaining elec/mechanical equipment in accordance with relevant PM documentation & helping to develop the manufacturing units activities (equipment specs, working practices, improvements etc.)

Experience within a similar field is essential, ideally you'll be qualified to HNC level within manufacturing or engineering & hold a formal electrical qualification.

In return, you'll receive a hourly rate of £16.46 plus a 26% shift allowance, enrolment to the company pension scheme, life insurance and 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays).
