This position is for a Maintenance Engineer, who will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of the production line in the industrial/manufacturing industry.

Description

  • Overseeing the maintenance and improvement of the production line.
  • Identification and resolution of equipment faults.
  • Performing routine machinery checks and adjustments.
  • Implementing preventative maintenance measures.
  • Collaborating with the wider Engineering & Manufacturing team.
  • Complying with health and safety regulations.
  • Updating maintenance logs and reports.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in fault diagnosis and problem-solving.
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work shifts, including nights.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary of approximately £50,000 per year, inclusive of a 30% shift allowance.
  • A shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
