Maintenance Engineer

An Electrical Maintenance Engineer position has become available within a growing business that designs and manufactures advanced electro-mechanical automotive components to a broad range of customers globally.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -

• Providing Maintenance support for site facilities and machinery, including compression moulding (50T > 300T) and rubber moulding
• Maximise the uptime through TPM schedule and efficient response to breakdowns
• PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults
• Provide technical support to the production and engineering staff within the operation
• Ensure that H&S and Quality Management Systems are adhered to

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will be -

• Apprentice trained as an Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer
• Trained in line with IEE Wiring Regulations (17th or 18th edition)
• Able to understand and interpret electrical drawings
• Experienced with PLC's - capable of diagnosing faults, repairs and basic programming
• Experienced with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
