Maintenance Engineer

Elevation have the pleasure of working with a FMCG business based in the Bradford area, who are looking for Maintenance Engineers to join their well established team with immediate effect!

Salary: £46,870 to £50,000

Location: Bradford

Hours: 4 on 4 off days and nights

Duties of a Maintenance Engineer:

• Being proactive within the job focusing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Mechanical Control Systems.
• Attending to breakdowns daily
• Planned preventative maintenance will be a daily task as one of the core values of the company
• Working within a team environment so must be a team player, but also work from own initiative when needed
• Ensure always adhering to health and safety procedures
• Working on baggers, fryer, pumps, conveyors, weighers, robots, and palletisers

Desired experience:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
• It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
• Ideally have 3 years' experience within in a mechanical/ electrical maintenance engineer position recently
• Must be happy working shift pattern
• Ideally have experience of working in an FMCG/ fast paced environment previously
• Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
• Fault finding on PLC’s
• Must have some electrical maintenance also
• Must have the good work ethic, this company are looking for people who live to achieve
