Maintenance Engineer

We currently have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join an established, privately owned, maintenance provider. The company has been established for 30+ years and has a great working environment which is backed up with a great staff retention rate.

The role will be covering planned and reactive maintenance building services across a portfolio of properties being based on one site in Waterloo 2 days a week and the other 3 days covering commercial properties in the West End and City, where you will be covering 2 sites per day.

The successful Maintenance Engineer should hold 5+ years building services experience with good Building Maintenance and HVAC systems knowledge to be able to work independently.

Duties of the Maintenance Engineer

• PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
• Electrical Fault-Finding
• Single & Three Phase Power
• Emergency Lighting
• Fire Alarms
• Tap Temperatures
• Flushing
• Water treatment
• Filters
• Belts
• General Building Services tasks

Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• City and Guilds / NVQ Qualification in Electrical Installations, Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing or 5+ years building Services Maintenance experience
• Very Client facing
• Polite and personable
• Self-Motivated

Salary and Benefits of the Maintenance Engineer

• Monday to Friday 8-5
• £38,000 - £44,000 per annum
