An ambitious company, the best in the field or expertise, based in Exeter, are looking for a Shift Engineer to join their pleasant and informal working atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be able to ensure maximum uptime and effective use of the production plant.

The role of Shift Engineer offers Full-time hours, 12 hours per shift within the following shift pattern 4 on, 4 off, providing you with routine and offering a great work-life balance,

As a Shift Engineer, your role will include:

  • Ensure the plant is maintained to ensure maximum uptime
  • Completing PPM and resolving breakdowns
  • Work alongside the ETM to resolve long-term repairs, providing short-term fixes to cover demands
  • Issue permits to work, complying with working regulations
  • Document and maintain records and daily logs
  • Observe and implement the H&S at Work Act 1974, alongside other relevant legislation

About You

  • Relevant Mechanical or Electronic Qualification
  • Experience completing boiler maintenance
  • Knowledge of COSSH
  • Health and Safety Awareness
  • Self-motivated and a great team player
