Our client is keen to recruit an Experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on the outskirts of Swindon

The Maintenance Engineer is required to provide maintenance expertise, to minimise machinery downtime. You will provide electrical and mechanical maintenance on high speed conveyors, sortation, filling, packaging machinery and general site infrastructure.

The Role of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

• Responsible for supporting all engineering breakdowns, diagnosing faults as soon as possible and replacement of parts
• Daily maintenance activities
• Rectifying all electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
• Enhancing, repairing, and maintaining all the plant equipment and plant

services within the manufacturing facility as per the preventative maintenance schedule and updating the maintenance log

• Installation and commission of new machinery and equipment projects.
• Continuous improvement projects during planned downtime and identifying engineering solutions to maximise efficiency of the plant
• Requesting spares / consumables required to support the engineering

activities to be undertaken

• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results
• Ability to work within a small team of engineers

The successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

• Previous experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance role
• Qualified to Level 3 equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-skilled

discipline

• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings single and 3 phase
• Plant maintenance experience with exposure to pneumatic, electronic and

mechanical systems

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
