Maintenance Engineer - Pharmaceutical

Walker Cole International is searching for a Maintenance Engineer to join an established pharmaceutical business based in the North West UK.

Your Responsibilities as a Maintanence Engineer Will Be To

• Lead the group responsible for governing the maintenance compliance and scheduling, through leadership of the planning team as well as multi-skilled day techs.
• Accountable for the streamlining and effective execution of maintenance through strong management of the planning and scheduling process, including continuously improving and optimising the maintenance schedule.
• Accountable and the owner for the shut-down planning process and the optimisation of this.
• Responsible for the maintenance cGMP and maintenance system housekeeping.
• Assist the Maintenance and Reliability Director in the setting and management of the maintenance budget.

The Successful Maintainence Engineer Candidate Will Have

• An Engineering HNC or equivalent.
• A few years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to ensure GMP compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical experience, such as prioritising, attention to detail, SAP experience.
• Proven line experience.
• Fluency in English.
